What will be the future of Bobby Lashley and his partners, the Street Profits? Check our WWE SmackDown Results, Winners, Grades, and Analysis from the September 29 Episode to get all the information.

Impromptu Singles Match

Jimmy Uso vs Karl Anderson

The Bloodline opened up the SmackDown without the Tribal Chief. Paul Heyman, Jimmy Uso, and Solo Sikoa highlighted the fear of John Cena and the inability to find any suitable opponent. The promo ended in a match between Jimmy Uso and Karl Anderson of the OC. Both Uso and Anderson are experienced tag team stars. But their single match was also good. Both superstars told a story in which Uso played the aggressor role. The Uso easily won the match that looked more like a squash. Mia Yim ended the segment by slapping Uso, much to the dismay of Solo Sikoa.

Grade C+

Analysis

Jimmy Uso tried to prove to WWE Universe that he was the ‘de facto’ leader in the absence of Roman Reigns. The match was a total squash, which could have been better because Karl Anderson is a credible wrestler. WWE could not bring back the success once OC had in WWE. The Bloodline is the centre point of SmackDown and will surely appear again on the episode with John Cena.

The Grayson Waller Effect with Bobby Lashley

It was a short and sweet segment in which Bobby Lashley cleared the air regarding his action last week. He confessed that he is no longer working with the Street Profits after last week’s loss.

Grade B

Analysis

If it is the end of the stable, then WWE made a great mistake here. But, it looked like Street Profits would show the changed attitude and bring more aggression to impress Bobby Lashley. Lashley will surely patch up with them after they prove their worth.

Singles Match

Austin Theory vs Cameron Grimes

Former United States champion Austin Theory hit the ring for a match against NXT export Cameron Grimes. Austin Theory squashed Cameron Grimes in a few minutes using his aggression and power moves.

Grade C

Analysis

WWE did not have enough plans for Austin Theory and Grayson Waller. But, both competitors have proved they can rule the tag team division if they are not given an opportunity as singles stars. Cameron Grimes was one of the best wrestlers in NXT. His booking is questionable on WWE SmackDown.

United States Championship Title Match

Rey Mysterio vs Santos Escobar

WWE United States Champion Rey Mysterio defended his championship against his protégé Santos Escobar on this week’s SmackDown. Both athletes knew each other well, and their styles meshed well to create a good TV match. WWE Hall of Famer was the winner in this match with a roll-up. Street Profits hit the ring and attacked both superstars. With this attack, Ford and Dawkins earned the approval of their group leader, Bobby Lashley.

Grade B+

Analysis

The match between Mysterio and Escobar was great. Both wrestlers still left a little room for more exciting matches in the future. Escobar played a heel by not answering the respect of Mysterio, which may get to a breaking point for the LWO. However, the main point is the attack on Street Profits. So, Mysterio and Escobar must reunite and set their rivalry aside to fight the Street Profits. It will be a great sign for SmackDown TV in the future weeks.

The Bloodline wreaked havoc over random superstars in the backstage area, leaving them injured. A video of the arrival of John Cena was also played, who came to settle the score with the Bloodline.

Singles Match

Bayley vs Charlotte Flair

The two pillars of The Four Horsewomen faced each other on SmackDown. Bayley started aggressively in the match. The match involved continuously in and out of the ring, where both superstars took control for a moment before giving it to the other. Charlotte and Bayley are veteran in-ring workers, so they know how to work together.

A physical battle between two competitors ended in a Charlotte Flair victory. After the match, the Damage Control members tried to attack the Queen, but Asuka made the save. WWE might book a tag match between Damage Control and a team of Charlotte and Asuka on next week’s episode.

Grade B

Analysis

We have pointed out one thing again and again every week: why it is necessary to give the title shot to Charlotte Flair every time she remains on TV. The current booking will take both Asuka and Charlotte to a title opportunity on the Fastlane. It is bad for someone like Bayley to lose back-to-back matches.

John Cena and the Bloodline Segment

John Cena appeared in front of a live crowd and pitched the idea of going by himself if he did not get a partner. Jimmy and Solo attacked John Cena once again. Before they could do much damage, the mega star LA Knight returned to SmackDown to a thunderous pop, saving the franchise star from the beatdown. LA Knight signed the contract to partner with John Cena in the main event of Fastlane. Cena was more excited than everybody else on the show to have LA Knight in his team.

Grade A

Analysis

WWE made everything right with this segment. John Cena gets a credible match in the main event of Fastlane, which is a good use of him. The Bloodline remained in the main event scene even in the absence of the Tribal Chief and Main Event Jey Uso. Solo Sikoa and LA Knight will get a great rub by working with the Greatest of All Time. LA Knight can go all the way to fight the champion after this match because everything is good for the Mega Star. Yeah!
